Our trip home, weddings!

Josh had a busy time at home because he was the best man in two weddings a week apart. First on July 4th his older brother Matt got married. Here is his new wife Kelly, and Josh's sister Heather and her boyfriend Nick.

This was our rental car. Fun story, basically we had a very long day of flying, delays, and now missing the bachelor/bachelorette parties. Once we arrived in Chicago to get our rental car, they had ran out of our Pontiac G6 or equivalent. They offered us a Chevy HH, we both looked at each other and said a what?! Then the lady cleared it up for us, it was a PT Cruiser look-a-like. Which is exactly what I told Josh they would give us while we were kidding around on the plane. Anyways, he immediately said no, what else. They said Chevy Cobalt (my car) and again he said no. Finally, we settled on a Ford Focus, and even though it was a level lower, they were not going to reimburse us for the difference. So, as I packed all the suitcases into the Focus at 11pm with a terrible migraine, and a 1.5 hour drive ahead of us, Josh was determined to ask about the G6 that we found sitting right next to the Focus. A few minutes later I get a phone call, "Hey hun, can you bring all the suitcases in, I'm trying to talk them into getting a different car." SO, I unloaded all the suitcases and starting walking up to the door. A minute later Josh came running out, "Teara! They will let us have the Chevy Camaro for only $30 extra a day! Can we get it!?" It was like watching a kid in a candy store, I've never seen such a huge grin. So, we got it, which worked out well because we let Matt and Kelly drive away in it on their wedding day.

Here we are at the rehearsal dinner at the Old Bag Factory.

Our second wedding was Josh's college roommate Andrew and his new wife Jen. We had a great time at both weddings and we wish both couples a blessed marriage. There are more pictures of both weddings on facebook.
