I came across this verse in my devotional. I'm blown away by this.
Do you ever pray for something but feel like the prayer isn't coming out the way you want it to? Or maybe you're distracted? Check this out:
Romans 8:26-27 "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God."
"God knows our hearts, desires, and longings. He also longs for us to experience His best for our lives. When we pray, our requests, fraught as they are with our clouded perspectives and sinful human natures, are in essence "filtered" through the Holy Spirit. While it might seem frustrating that our prayers are no longer entirely our own, having God Himself interceding on our behalf is an incredible privilege."
