So, now that Josh is done with school we are pretty much doing everything he's thought about doing during those dreaded weekend days of studying. Thankfully, this coincides with wonderful Texas spring weather. And by spring, I mean 70s and 80s, a typical Michigan summer. This weekend in Del Rio, the highs are already in the 90s. Fabulous.
Just some quick shots of what we did.
St. Patty's Riverboat Parade, they dyed the river green like good ole' Chicago does!
Took a bike ride up to Johnson City, TX and toured the LBJ house. Beautiful day!
Pedernales Falls State Park, could not believe how much water was at this place!I guess that's what some rain does.

And, what is this stuff?
We also toured the Japanese Tea Gardens. Too beautiful to be free!
Yes, there is a huge waterfall in the back.

And we've spent lots of time at the dog park letting the boys play.

It took a little coaxing to get them to climb the ramp up, but once they did, they liked it.Two weeks from tomorrow we start packing the Uhaul. We absolutely love living in San Antonio, if there were a nice large lake here, I'd say we would retire here, but there's not. SA, we will give you 14 years to change this!
More than likely Josh will not be done with training by the time we move. Thank you mother nature for giving us fog nearly every morning and cancelling flights. So we will probably be spending some time apart since we will no longer have a house in San Antonio! He will probably move to the dorms on base and I'll stay in Del Rio putting our house together.
