Josh is finally "a part of the squadron" with his call sign. After being rescheduled numerous times, they finally had a naming ceremony last week. His name is "Clobber." From what I gather, it is based off a flying term, clobber. Josh was asked about it during his 'intense' verification process in which all the big wigs pound the newbies with questions. Apparently, he was not thinking straight and could not come up with the correct answer. Instead he ran on for quite a few minutes and completely messed up the question. I guess it was funny/bad enough to be rather memorable, hence the call sign. He is pretty happy with it though and it has a nice ring to it. We are both glad the verification and naming is finally over. Now we are soaking up the last few days we've got together before his big 'trip'!
